Few are the bands these days who sound more German than Tocotronic. Most German thing about them is probably that they used to try something English, and did it practically clandestine: as a B-side to the maxi CD of Hi Freaks, 2002.

Sailor Man is a cover version from Darkness Forever! by Turbonegro, 1999. They added their own flavor to the original song — which takes me to a question to the English native readers among us:
